Nancy Pennington
December 7, 1954 — October 31, 2016
Nancy Clay Carl Pennington, 61, of Covington passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 31, 2016 at her mother’s home. Her mother, Margaret Bird Carl, also passed away that same morning at her home.
In addition to her mother’s passing, she was preceded in death by her father, Harry C. Carl, Jr.; and two aunts, Nancy Wilkerson and Mary Wildeman.
Nancy was a retired Public Health Official for the State of Florida and the City of Cincinnati, a homemaker and a member of the Erlanger Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, David Pennington of Covington; son, Oliver Lynn (Maria) Pennington of Boston, Massachusetts; brother, Bob (Janet) Carl of Union; sister, Margaret A. (Ed) Giniat of Chicago; aunt, Sue McHugh of Erlanger; two grandchildren, Aria Pennington and Quinn Pennington; nephews, Josh Carl, Matthew Giniat and Andrew Giniat; and a niece, Alexandra Carl.
No Visitation is scheduled. Memorial Service is Thursday, November 3, 3016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Erlanger Christian Church, 27 Graves Avenue, Erlanger. Interment at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger is serving the family.
