Nella Porter

Nella Jean Porter, 90, of Florence, formerly of Lakeside Park, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Covington and worked in the insurance billing department for Dr. John Cassidy in Covington before she retired. Nella enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending quality time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Paul Porter; and her parents, Harry and Emma Fisher Sturm.

Survivors include son, Dave (Cindy) Porter; daughter, Diane (Ron) Covey; sisters, Becky (Ron) White and Beth (Phil) Reeves; grandchildren, Tonya, Michael, Brandon and Jill; and great grandchildren, Seth, Tanner, Haylie, Chadwick, and Jacob.

Visitation is Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service which begins at 1:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. Interment at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.
