Opal Kwozalla

Opal Mae Earlywine Kwozalla, 109, formerly of Park Hills, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Rosedale Green in Latonia.

Opal was believed to be the oldest citizen of Kenton County and had resided at Rosedale Green for over six years. She was born on November 20, 1907, in Seelyville, Indiana, to the late William and Maude Allbright Earlywine. Her husband, Albert Roderick Kwozalla, died in 1978; her son, Ronald E. Kwozalla, died in 1992; and her grandson, Lawrence Roderick Kwozalla, died in 2012.

Opal was a homemaker and a very strong lady who loved her family very much. She was the oldest of nine children in her family and the last survivor.

She is survived by her son, William (Joann) Kwozalla of Ft. Wright; grandchildren, Steffani (Joseph) Hardesty, Shannon Herold, Stacey (James) Richardson, and Shelby (Ken) Lange; nine great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special "Thank you" to the staff at Rosedale Green for the loving care they gave to Opal.
