Pauline Vanderpool

Pauline Fox Vanderpool, 96, of Elsmere, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at her home. 

Pauline was born on May 15, 1930, in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to the late Frank E. and Bessie Florence (Boone) Fox. She, and her husband, Letcher owned and operated R & L Vending Company for many years together, providing service to the IRS Covington (Flat Top) nearly the entire time. A longtime member of Point Pleasant Church of Christ, Hebron, Pauline was devoted to St. Jude and Smile Train. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Letcher Vanderpool in 2013; son in law, Chris J. Reitz, I in 2020; and her parents, Frank and Bessie Vanderpool. 

Survivors include her daughter, Debra Ann Reitz; grandchildren, Chris J. Reitz, II and Elizabeth Ann (Troy) Gorman; great grandchildren, Joshua Gorman, Emily Gorman and Joseph Gorman; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Visitation from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, 3614 Dixie Hwy., Erlanger. Funeral services to immediately follow at 12:00 Noon. Entombment will be in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum, Southgate, Kentucky.
