Pearl Louise Landers Cowens, 98, of Rising Sun, Indiana, formerly of Ludlow, died Wednesday, October 7, at Waters of Rising Sun. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Cowens was a member of First Baptist Church of Ludlow, the Ludlow Senior Citizens, and RSVP of Covington.
Survivors include son, Samuel J. Cowens, Jr. of Dillsboro, Indiana; grandchildren, Vickie Monroe and Mary Beth Marshall; great grandchildren, Matt Monroe, Stephanie Monroe, Melissa Cheek, and Doug Monroe; and great great grandchildren, Brennan Monroe, Gabriel Marshall, and Allison Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel J. Cowens, Sr. in 1987; daughter, June Delores Cowens Kreimer; and parents, John and Nettie Good Landers.
