Peggy Humphrey
May 7, 1925 — January 22, 2016
Peggy Jo Morehead Humphrey, 90, of Georgetown, formerly of Taylorsport, died Friday, January 22, 2016 at Dover Manor Nursing Home in Georgetown. She was a bookkeeper for Carlisle Construction for 25 years and loved to read and quilt.
She is preceded in death by husband, Virgil Humphrey; parents, Edgar and Elizabeth Grim Morehead; and sister, June Kenyon.
Survivors include daughter, Melissa Humphrey of Georgetown, Kentucky; brother, Robert Earl Morehead of Burlington; sister, Elizabeth Ann Keller of Lexington; nine nieces; and three nephews.
Visitation is Friday, January 29, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf- Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Interment at Hebron Lutheran Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Rd., Florence, KY 41042 and/or Scott Co. Humane Society, 751 Slone Dr. #13, Georgetown, KY 40324.
