Rae E. Beasley

Rae E. (Mangold) Beasley, 95, of Florence passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024. 

Rae was born on January 23, 1929, in DeMossville, Kentucky to Raymond and Flarra (Glacken) Mangold. She was a homemaker, and for many years, she was the Director of Programs at Turfway Park and a 50+ year member of the Hathaway Club of Boone Co. Extension Homemakers. Rae also volunteered for many years at both Yealey Elementary and Ockerman Elementary and was an active member and volunteer for the Boone Co. High School Band Boosters. She was a longtime member of the Friends of the Boone Co. Library and the Boone Co. Historical Society. 

Rae was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Beasley in 2012; her parents, Raymond and Flarra Mangold; grandson, Robert David Fessler; son in law, Tom Timmers; and a brother-in-law, Harry Lee Rea. 

Survivors include her daughters, Terry Timmers and Cindy (Jeff) Fessler; son, Kevin (Kelly) Beasley; sister, Almeda Rea; five grandchildren, Kristen (Nick) Covelle, Zachary Beasley, Daniel (Stephanie) Fessler, Joseph (Candace) Fessler and Devin (Katie) Beasley; 12 great grandchildren, Tyler Covelle, Aidan Covelle, Kayci Covelle, Lucy Fessler, Dani Fessler, Henry Fessler, Benjamin Fessler, Emily Fessler, Joel Fessler, Caleb Fessler, Jacob Fessler, and Koben Beasley; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Visitation is Tuesday, March 26, 2024, 10:30 am till 12:30 pm at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. A Celebration of Life Tribute will immediately follow at 12:30. Interment will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown.
