Ray H. Benson, 89, of Villa Hills, died Monday, October 15 at St. Luke West Hospital in Florence. He was a retired salesman with Square D Corporation and Kentucky Motors. He was a member of the Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church, the Simon Kenton American Legion Post #20, the Covington Colonel Clay F&AM Masonic Lodge #159, and an Army Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mabel Rankin Benson; daughters, Rebecca Benson of Cincinnati, and Rita Brady of Covington; sister, Christine Pollitt of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Rae Benson and his parents, Lafe M. and Daisy Warner Benson.
