Ray Thomas, 85, of Bromley, died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. He was a retired construction worker with the Laborer's Union #265.

Mr. Thomas was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Laborer's Union Local #265.

Survivors include his sons, Gary (Betty) Thomas of Hebron, Danny Thomas of Brooksville, and Scott (Treva) Thomas of Dry Ridge; step son, Gary Martin of Bromley; grandchildren, Sherry Thomas, Earl (Samantha) Thomas, and Allissa Thomas; 10 great grandchildren; and a great great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Ruth Whittamore Thomas in October, 2010; son, Steven Thomas in 1981; step daughter, Gina Martin in 2008; and parents, Joseph and Willie Margaret Rigsby Thomas.

Memorials are suggested to Pleasant View Baptist Church, 240 Pike Street, Bromley, KY 41016.
