Rev. Thomas Moore
July 24, 1927 — June 26, 2017
Rev. Thomas Isaac Moore, 89, of Bromley and longtime member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and School for 39 years went to meet his Lord and Savior at 7:21 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017.
He loved and served his Lord and loved his country and served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Lee Hutson Moore, who passed in 2002; son, Gary Moore; and his parents, Oscar and Emily Robinson Moore.
Surviving is his wife of nine years, Teresa Marie Chitwood Moore of River Valley Nursing Home, Butler, Kentucky; daughters, Kathryn Marie (Foster) Brock of Taylor Mill, Valerie Ann Vondenbenken of Cincinnati and Amber Dawn (Mike) Pence of Bromley; sons, Robert Lewis Moore of Elsmere and Stephen Phillip Moore of Bromley; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday, June 30, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 240 Pike Street, Bromley. Funeral services to immediately follow at 12:00 Noon at the church. Interment, with military honors, at Walton Cemetery, Walton. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow is serving the family.
He will be greatly missed by his family who loved and respected him for his love of God and Country. Memorials are suggested to Pleasant View Baptist Church and School, 240 Pike Street, Bromley, KY 41016.
