Richard Nieberding
September 6, 1939 — November 19, 2015
Richard J. “Dick” Nieberding Sr. , 76, of Villa Hills, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Edgewood. He was a service coordinator at Thomson MacConnell Cadillac in Cincinnati.
Dick was a U. S. Army Veteran, a member of the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame and he pitched in the minor leagues for the San Francisco Giants.
Survivors include wife, Betty Berling Nieberding; sons, Richard “Rick” J. (Melanie) Nieberding Jr. of South Carolina and John Scott (Lisa) Nieberding of Crescent Springs; daughter, Juli Shultz of Columbus, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation is Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
