Richard Powers

Richard J. Powers, 86, of Erlanger passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence. 

Richard was born one of eleven children on April 29, 1938, in Covington, Kentucky to Richard J. Powers, Sr. and Mary Schuler Powers. He was a retired sheet metal worker for Union Local # 24, a member of St. Henry Church and he enjoyed fishing whenever possible. 

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Ball) Powers on February 18, 2024; son, Douglas Powers in 2018; and his parents, Richard and Mary Powers. 

Survivors include a son, Steven Powers; three granddaughters, Vicky (Phil) Hepfinger, Michelle Powers and Ashley (Steven) Withers; and six great grandchildren with two on the way, Jake, Harper, Emily, Everly, Piper and Olivia. 

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger is serving the family.
