Richard Howard Slade, 76, of Florence, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence.
He was a retired mechanic for Cengage in Florence and loved sports and watching westerns on television.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Edward and Laura Belle McManama Slade.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Helen Huhn Slade; son, Robert (Christina) Slade; daughter, Chalice (Bubba) Michael, grand-daughter, Summer Thompson, great grandson, Hunter Day; sister, Judy Brady; half-brother, Dennis Jones; and niece, Liz Brady.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger is serving the family.
