Robert Henson
February 25, 1932 — June 17, 2008
Robert E. Henson, 76, of Hebron, died Tuesday, June 17 at his home. He was a retired machinist/mechanic with Monarch Auto Supply of Burlington.
He loved to build motors and race cars and enjoyed racing them.
He was a member of the Burlington Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mona Gail Bright Henson; sons, Robert Henson of Erlanger, Gerald Henson of Covington, Thomas Henson of Latonia, Brian Hellard of Frankfort, Vernon Henson of Hebron, and Gregory Henson and James Henson, both of Louisville; daughters, Margie McMeans, Sheila Henson and Samantha Henson, all of Hebron, Sherry Rotunno of Dayton, Ohio, Brenda Thompson of Elsmere, Victoria Webster of Covington, and Donna Coleman of Tuscon, Arizona; brothers, Thomas Henson and Lee Henson, both of Hebron; sisters, Sue Henson of Florence and Karen Ogden of Union; 33 grandchildren; and 40 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Grace Vandventer Henson.
