Robert Vornhagen
October 17, 1921 — July 10, 2008
Robert O. Vornhagen, 86, of Florence, died Thursday, July 10, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.
He was a retired appliance repairman who loved beer and wine making. Mr. Vornhahgen also loved to garden and cook.
He was a World War II Army Veteran and member of St. Paul Church, Florence.
He is survived by a daughter, Beverly Jean Bailey of Jacksonville, NC; four grandsons, Raymond, Kristen, Michael and Blaine; and two great grandchildren, Allison and Ryan. His wife, Alma Walton Vornhagen and parents, George and Helen (Pohlman) Vornhagen, preceded him in death.
