Robin E. McArter

Robin E. (Sowers) McArter, 70, of Florence, Kentucky passed away Monday, October 5, 2026, at Hospice of St. Elizabeth, Edgewood. 

Robin was born on August 28, 1956, in Covington, Kentucky to the late George S. and Ardath Ivadean (Thompson) Sowers. She worked for many years as a Manager in Retail Stores. Robin was a strong woman of faith and faithful supporter of her husband Michael’s ministry in the United Methodist Church. She was a member of both the Minerva and Bethel United Methodist Church congregations. Robin loved flower arranging, jewelry and loving on her grandsons. 

Survivors include her husband, Reverend Michael McArter; daughter, Nicole (Jeremy) Moore; grandsons, Benjamin, Peyton, William “Will” and Maxwell; brothers, Michael Sowers and Edd (Richelle) Sowers; brother in laws and sister in laws, John (Theresa) McArter and Gary (Kathy) McArter; Uncle, Gene Thompson; and Aunts, Janet Williams and Charlotte Hempfling. 

Visitation is 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday, October 12, 2026, at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, 1833 Petersburg Road, Hebron, Kentucky. Funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
