Ronald Garnett

Ronald E. “Pee Wee” Garnett, 82, of Burlington, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at his residence. He was co-owner of J. A. Stevens Mower Company, Hebron.

Ronald was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Hebron Lutheran Church. He was an avid softball player, having earned All-American honors 18 times, being named Most Valuable Player four times and being inducted into the National Senior Players Hall of Fame.

He was preceded in death by parents, Myron and Marietta Stephens Garnett.

Survivors include wife, Mary Lou Utz Garnett; son, Gary (Lori) Garnett of Burlington; daughters, Terri Gurren and Toni Baker, both of Florence; grandchildren, Holly, Jenna, Dillon and Mackenzie; great grandchildren, Will and Claire; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hebron Lutheran Church. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Reverend Dan Kovaly and Pastor Andrew Potratz are officiating. Interment at Hebron Lutheran Cemetery. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron is serving the family.
