Russell Mains

Russell E. Mains, 61, of Petersburg, Kentucky died on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Woodcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation, Elsmere. 

Russ was born on December 22, 1964, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky to Elmo Mains and the late Rose Mary Siegrist. He was a stock clerk and cashier. 

Russ was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Mary Siegrist. 

Survivors include his father, Elmo E. Mains; brothers, Chris Mains, Sr. and Kyle Mains; stepfather, Richard Whitefoot; nieces, Alexis Kirkland, Kristen Cummins, Demi Mains, Kylie Mains; and nephews, Christopher Mains, Jr. and Dylan Mains. 

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
