Ruth Davenport

Ruth Branham Davenport, 77, of Hebron passed away at her home on Monday, September 14, 2015.

She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Bullittsville Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Wayne Davenport in 1975; her parents, Sidney and Cora Thomas Branham; and brothers, Memory Branham, Gideon Branham and Tipton Branham.

Survivors include her daughter, Florence (Randy) Thomas of Walton; granddaughter, Cassie Smith of Newport; sisters, Virgellen Lovitt and Etta Perry, both of Waverly Hall, Georgia; and nieces, Etta Lovitt, Peggy Welch, Kathy Berends and Treda Muse.

Visitation is Monday, September 21, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Bullittsville Christian Church, Burlington. Funeral services to immediately follow at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial following at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Thomas Cemetery, Wolf Creek, Kentucky. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron is serving the family.
