Stephen Hurst

Stephen Kent Hurst, 64, of Hebron passed away Monday, November 21, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

Steve was a wonderful man. He and his wife, Holly, enjoyed many adventures together, traveling the country and vacationing with the kids. He also loved Corvettes, Camaros and the Colts. 

He finished his career as a 737 captain flying among the Hawaiian islands. He loved being a pilot and is now flying in Heaven.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Louise (Frost) Hurst.

Survivors include his wife, Holly M. (Higgins) Hurst; daughters, Amanda Hurst and Gabrielle (Adam) Stossur; son, Braden Hurst; brothers, Wendell (Gale) Hurst, Randall (Kristin) Hurst and Chris (Sheila) Hurst; a granddaughter, Callianne Caldwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held around memorial day when the family gathers for the Indy 500.
