Sue Reeves

Sue Masters Reeves, born on May 6, 1930, to George and Sarah (Bratton) Hetzel, passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Sue spent many years as a Bank Teller at Hebron Deposit Bank. Her career of working outside the home began after the passing of her first husband.

She was a member of Hebron Lutheran Church and in her leisure time, Sue found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved to go antiquing, uncovering hidden treasures from the past, and was an avid card player, always ready to engage in a game of Euchre, carrying a deck of cards in her purse wherever she went.

Survivors include son, Bink Masters; granddaughters, Callie (Aaron) Stephens and Carlee (Drew) Lykins; great-grandchildren, Crew Stephens, Cutter Stephens, Ryder Lykins, and Riggs Lykins; and a sister, Margaret Davis.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sarah Hetzel, her first husband Carroll "Beans" Masters, her second husband Charles "Burr" Reeves, and her siblings Hannah Jean "Poochie" and George Hetzel.

Her graveside service will be held on August 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Hebron Lutheran Cemetery in Hebron, Kentucky. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory and celebrate a life well-lived. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron, is serving the family.
