Theresa Beulah Cress, nee Roden, 72, of Walton, Kentucky, died Saturday, August 27, 2011, at her residence.
She was a food server at Gate Gormet and worked at Duro Bag Manufacturing. She was a member of Sand Run Baptist Church and Boone County Homemakers.
Mrs. Cress was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Cress, parents George Columbus and Lola Wells Roden, brothers, Riley, George and Ottis Roden, sister, Beryl Aker, half-sister, Christine Tindle and grandchildren, Alex Elam and Amy Gail Napier.
She is survived by sons, Herman(Lisa)Elam, Crab Orchard, Kentucky, David Elam, Walton, Kentucky, Billy(Jill)Elam and George Bradley, both of Jonesville, Kentucky, daughters, Fritrena(Richard)Danielsen, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Theresa Elam, Dry Ridge, Kentucky, step-sons, Michael(Ann)Cress, Burlington, Kentucky, Everett Alan Cress, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, step-daughters, Linda Cress, Ross, Ohio, Jean(Tony)Anderson, Burlington, Kentucky, brothers, Stanley(Norma)Roden, Hebron, Kentucky, Steve Roden, Richmond, Kentucky, Larry(Kim)Roden, Florence, Kentucky, sisters, Bertie VanArsdall, Hebron, Kentucky, Faye Saylor, Midland, Ohio and Loretta Shaffer, Covington, Kentucky. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
