Vernon Riedlin

Vernon Walter Riedlin, 83, of Delta, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, Maryland. He was a retired Electrical Engineer with Westinghouse Defense Corp.

Born in Covington, Kentucky to the late Murray Voorhees and Rosemary Riedlin, Vernon served as a Corporal in the U.S. Marines. He was a member of the Tall Cedars, the Masons, the Shriners, the VFW and the American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce June Martin Riedlin; son, Vernon M. Riedlin; brother, William (Vera) Riedlin; and sister, Diana (Vincent) Rossi.

He is survived by his wife, Hope Handley Bradley of Delta, Pennsylvania; daughter, Tina Riedlin of Erlanger; step son, Tim Bradley; step daughter, Beth Mander; grandchildren, Cory Dale of China Grove, North Carolina, Michael Riedlin, Dana Smith of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, Aron Smith of Redlion, Pennsylvania and Katherine Riedlin of Washington, DC; and four great grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, December 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Interment, with military honors, at 11:30 a.m. at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
