Violet Spaulding

Violet Sue Pharris Spaulding, 80, of Covington, formerly of Butler, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. She was a retired Nurses Aid with Visiting Angels and a member of Eastside Christian Church, Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Otis and Arnie Flo Claywell Pharris; brother, Jimmy Pharris; and sister, Shirley Rump.

Survivors include daughters, Mona (Omar) Lewis of Glencoe and Cynthia “Rene” (Ken) Guenther of Hebron; son, Scott (Nichole) Lewis of Florence; sisters, Maggie (Richard) Claywell of Louisville and Thelma Irwin of Albany, Kentucky; ex-husband, Waymon Lewis of Dry Ridge; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, January 26, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron with the Funeral Service to follow at 8:00 p.m. Graveside Service is Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 12:00 Noon Central Time at Booher Claywell Cemetery, Burkesville, Kentucky.
