Biography

William J. Power, 58, of New Canaan, Connecticut, passed away on Sunday, April 27 at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut.

A New York native, Bill spent his whole life as an audio engineer, including over 22 years for ABC-TV and the last six years for the Yes Network (New York Yankees), before his hospitalization.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Ulrich Power of New Canaan; daughter, Noelle Power; twin sons, William and Michael Power; and sister, Elizabeth Kabak of Boston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Joann Walsh Power.

Services were held in Connecticut on April 29 and 30. A Graveside Service will be held locally on Saturday, May 3.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be establishing a trust fund honoring Bill in the name of his three children. Donations may be made in the form of a check made payable to Jan Power.
