William "Bill" Mitchell

William N. “Bill” Mitchell, 77, of Florence passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence. He was a retired Machinist for Meyer Tool, Inc.

Bill was a member of the Lord's Church, was a United States Air Force veteran and he enjoyed gardening, canning and yard work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Parker and Madeline Clark Mitchell; and a grandson, Thomas Joseph “TJ” Mitchell, II.

Survivors include daughters, Wila (James “Rusty”) Story and Jamie Steinhoff; sons, William (Tresa) Mitchell, II and Thomas Joseph (Jamie) Mitchell; brothers, Clarence (Carol) Mitchell and Steve Mitchell; sisters, Raybelle Webster and Atha DeJohn; grandchildren, Stephanie Underwood, Jason Underwood, Mallory Kuhlman, Cody Story and Casey Lee Mitchell; and four great grandchildren.

Visitation is Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Memorial Service to follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, with Military Honors, is Friday, January 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown.
