Oliver G. “O.G.” Berry, 89, of Glencoe passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at the Providence of Gallatin Health and Rehabilitation, Warsaw, Kentucky.

O.G., as he was commonly known, was a Heavy Equipment Operating Engineer for many years, a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War and a member of Oakland Baptist Church, Glencoe.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine K. Day Berry in 2014; and his parents, David and Lucinda Halcomb Berry.

He is survived by the last of 13 siblings, Odell (Martha) Berry of Walton; stepson, Rick (Vicki) Turner; stepdaughters, Sandra (Tim) Turner, Kathy (Jeff) Freyler, Jerri (Greg) Clayton and Mary Jane Turner; step grandchildren; step great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Bullittsburg Cemetery, Petersburg.

Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron is serving the family.
